Dele Alli and Harry Maguire scored for England to book a semi-final berth after a 2-0 win over Sweden. It was a quarter-final clash on Saturday in Samara. This was England’s first win in a knockout match in a major tournament since beating Ecuador in the Last 16 at the 2006 World Cup.
It's a great achievement for the English team. Now England will play Croatia in the half final on 11 July in Moscow. England are through to the semi-finals of the World Cup for the first time since 1990.
